Steve Nicol doesn’t want Liverpool FC to sign 25-year-old goalkeeper.

The Reds legend doesn’t want the Reds to sign Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland.

The English giants are in the hunt for a new goalkeeper in the transfer window this summer.

Whole world has witnessed how much it cost Liverpool for not sorting out their goalkeeping issues earlier this season.

The Reds have been linked with a potential move to sign either AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker or Atletico Madrid superstar goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Both of them would cost around the range of £80m-100m.

Nicol said:

“I would say a big no to Butland. I think if you get Alisson or Oblak, you’re not making a mistake. You don’t lose whichever one you get but ahead of Butland.”
