Liverpool have had their third player who has tested positive for CoVID-19.
This time it is their Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri. After going away on national camp, the Swiss Football federation released a statement declaring that the player has the virus.
Shaqiri becomes the third player after Thiago and Sadio Mane to be tested positive from Liverpool.
Liverpool’s new boy Thiago came from Bayern Munich and made a very impressive debut against Chelsea at the Bridge before having to go off to isolate for being tested positive.
He has shown no serious symptoms. The second player was the man of the match from the Chelsea and the Arsenal match in Sadio Mane. The Senegalese was in the form of his life.
However, he will have to take a break from his work and recover. He too has shown no serious symptoms.
With now Shaqiri also under the infection, Liverpool will be scared that more in their camp have not caught the disease.
The Reds began the campaign brightly but it is getting increasingly disturbing and troubling if half their squad goes missing over CoVID.
The Premier League might soon have to suspend games again if things get out of hand.
