Van Dijk hits out at Adrian over

Liverpool have finally lost.

And they cannot seem to stop losing. It has been 4 defeats now in 6 matches. Klopp’s men who were in contention to win 3 trophies and become the team to win it all are now left with one trophy to win.

Not that it is not impressive, specially at the rate at which Liverpool are going. However, to taper down to one league title from being invincibles and possible champions of everything – it would seem Liverpool’s season is coming to a crashing halt.

It has now hit another snag as the players seem to be not taking the defeat well.

Immediately after Liverpool’s loss to Atletico Madrid at Anfield, which was largely due to goalkeeping blunders from Adrian, the Reds’ star centre back Virgil Van Dijk was found angry and directly blaming his team-mate in open media.

“It happens. But Adrian’s misjudgement seemed to turn the game around,” VVD was quoted saying.

However, he probably realised that it was not the cooles thing to say in public and in a quick attempt to hide his ugly side, he added, “Anyone can make a mistake. You win together, you lose together. Things happen in matches. We lost. That’s tough to take.”

With the PL now in threat of suspension, how will VVD react to the fact that Liverpool might go trophyless this season?
